With technological advancements and online resources, reading a newspaper is becoming very rare. Factors like easy internet access and digital news platforms have severely affected the production of printed news. I strongly believe that they have also provided people with easy and accurate access to online databases.

To begin with, the availability of digital information on the internet and Wikipedia directly aims at the socially active population. Since the details are available just one click away, computers and search engines are widely used compared to traditional news sources. The information usually spreads fast and is often accurate. To elaborate, Google, a free search engine, is frequently used by many people to seek legitimate information on daily activities and health trends.

In addition to this, the internet provides various platforms to send and discuss the latest news from anywhere in the world, whereas newspapers do not facilitate sharing thoughts with other people. For instance, political news and comments are usually discussed widely on Twitter, which is a well-developed online tool to show interest and comment on trending news. Online messaging applications such as Whatsapp and Messenger are highly effective tools for sharing the latest headlines compared to the printed versions.

To conclude, rising innovations in modern technology and computers are eliminating the use of newspapers at an alarming rate. I also think that newspapers are no longer required by netizens to read the daily news, as they do this by just clicking on their smartphones.

Feedback:

The essay presents a clear stance and provides some relevant examples. However, it lacks depth and specific details. The introduction could be more concise. The essay needs to be more focused and address the prompt directly. Consider using more sophisticated vocabulary and sentence structures.
