It is often considered as in the England most of the old individuals live at the old age homes where they get accurate services and support workers but, in some cases, instead of the family's authorities have to pay for their expenses . This essay will discuss about the certain rational reasons due to which government should spend on their care such as to prevent vulnerable old age people and support individuals who cannot afford services

To begin with, although their are innumerable of reason because of which government need to pay for their living but most common is high cost of living because in the age above sixty five mostly people needs professional care, regular medical check ups and on time medication that is impossible to afford in this era so in order to support the authorities come into role and provide numerous services such as build long term care or group homes. Moreover in the working age every individual have to pay for their retirement taxes to the government which is then actually used in their old age that they pays a long time ago so this is totally unethical to say that in spite of high authorities, families have to provide the expenses of old age homes

In addition to this, mostly the elderly people left alone after their children leave them for work or to start new life due to which they faces an empty nest syndrome condition that is responsible for making their mental as well as physical condition more vulnerable .Furthermore, as they are left alone or helpless so they are more prone to criminal offences such as robbery , murder and sexual assaults .For instance, according to the report of THE TRIBUNE newspaper thirty percent of robbery cases are associated with elderly population so to prevent these vulnerable situation it is neccessary for the governance to send them into the long term home where they feel safe

In conclusion , even though their is a huge chunk of money that government have to spend every year on old people but it is required to provide them safe environment and give less financial burden on british families
