To commence with, one of the most plausible reasons why fast food has bad effects is that it leads to environmental degradation. Because, fast food is mainly packed in single-use plastic bags which result in wastage and this plastic has several detrimental effects on the health of the people who are consuming the fast food and environment. As a result, nature is being affected. Moreover, family relations are a victim of increasing demand of fast food. For instance, in past, members spent time making meals and shared their feelings and what is happening in their life. But, nowadays, due to rise in the culture of eating outside fast food, their bondings have become week.

Another injurious consequence of junk food is on the people. Because, packed food comprises of fats, sugar, high levels of calories etcetera. This results in adverse outcome like cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, obesity and so on. One survey also shared that most of the youngsters are encountering the problem of overweight.
